What you see on these pictures are some of the most wonderful wall murals you can find in Canada, or to be more specific, in Quebec. They can be found in three locations in Quebec:
The Petit-Champlain Mural illustrates the origins of the Cap-Blanc neighbourhood, the bombardments in 1759, fires, landslides and other disasters to have befallen Quartier Petit Champlain over the years, as well as the strength and courage of those who built, lived, developed and breathed new life into this part of Quebec City.
The Quebec City Mural is a five story three dimensional Trompe D'oeil that depicts several notable people in Quebec history: François de Montmorency-Laval, Louis-Joseph Papineau, François-Xavier Garneau, Jacques Cartier, Jean Talon, Comte de Frontenac, Louis Jolliet, Samuel de Champlain, Lord Dufferin, Felix Leclerc.
Hotel - Dieu de Quebec Mural (teaching hospital) opened in 1639 by Duchess d’Aiguillon and the Augustines hospitalières de Dieppe. On these murals, you can see the doctors and nurses.
