Yup, that's right, if you just take a look around you, I'm sure you'll find them... they're all around us, all the time. Have you ever found yourself staring at one spot for more than 10 seconds? And noticed how that certain "something" you were staring at doesn't look so usual as it used to before? If you haven't, just try to use your imagination, the way you used to when you were a child and, yeah, you don't really have to be a child to find them ;) To prove I'm right, I'll show you how some real grown ups did it. We could call this some sort of coincidence, illusions and imagination mix.

Great post
That house with the red roof was the scariest to me, it was almost too obvious as if it was planned that way.
its because we have a part of our brain dedicated to face recition.
I *like* it. Does make me feel a bit like a kid again, despite being an old fart ;)
I especially like the house roof - never really seen it in this way...
The human brain has a huge amount of volume dedicated to recognizing faces, so pretty much anything we look at we try to frame as a face.

So true. I've got curtain full of demon heads, which no one but me can see. Cheers
haha sweet man thats so true i do that all the time
the first thing the human brain tries to see is a human face that is why so many things appear as a face, if something looks vaugly like a face then that is the first thing you will see
What are these supposed to be pictures of? I saw an iron and some plugs...?
Man that roof gave me a salvia flashback.
That was a very nice post! Those pictures really made me laugh for some reason.
I think you would have seen everything as faces when you are compiling these images...
faces-22.jpg is awesome !
OMG!! They're watching us!!
That's awesome. Thanks for the images. :)
the last one, the ash tray.
we have those at my college.
we (or I) refer to them as "Barry the Robot".
Barry? why?
because you put smokes out in his eyes. Bad News Bears.
bears, barry, nvrmnd.
awesome, great work!
From looking at the photos on Flickr they are retain copywrite. if your going to use someones work you need to request permission and attribute the work to them not the site that they host their work on.
the bath image is great, really sad eyes...reminds me of A.I.
That house looks so sleepy, ha ha. This post really started my day off well! Thanks! :)
noooo loco flashie con toda la carita vo
I can't think of a single vertibrate on earch that doesn't have a face with two eyes, a nose, and a mouth below. Common ancestry?
I noticed this in my bathtub some years ago. Between the drain and the faucet is the spot for taking up water to prevent it from overflowing. The metal plate at the right angle, looked exactly like a face. I yellow spray painted the plate, and used black spray paint on the screws. It now looks like a smiley face.
Fascinating! I thought I was the only one who saw these kinds of things. I have a couple shots of my own in this category; I'd post them somewhere and give you a link if I could find them. :-p One of them is on my cell phone with no way to get it off 'cause I don't have Picture Mail... :-(
totally cool
